Jennie  has  been  an educator  for  over  30  years,  specialising in the last decade as  an online tutor preparing  students  for  the  rigours  of  the  highly  competitive entrance  examination  process   at  7 plus, 11 plus and  13 Plus. The majority of her clients seek out her help for 11 plus tuition and for her advice as an educational consultant.

In  the  past,  she worked  as  a  classroom  teacher  in  both  primary  and  secondary  schools  in  private  and  state  sectors.  She  also  spent  a  number  of  years  working  as  a  peripatetic music  teacher  with  students  of  all  ages,  and  has  worked  with  families  as  a  governess  and  nanny,  travelling  all  over  the  world  in  these  roles.

Jennie  has  two  lovely  children  who  have  inspired  and  educated  her  most  of  all  throughout  her  life.  They  are  the  reason  she  decided  to  write  her  first  book,  Maximise  your  Child’s  Performance,  as she wanted to  pass on all the amazing things she had learnt on her educator’s journey. She is in the middle of writing another book, Maximise your Child’s Happiness, which includes activities designed to protect your child’s mental health and promote their sense of wellbeing.

Jennie  was  lucky enough  to  do  her  first  degree  at  Oxford  University, and has  done  a  number  of  additional  degrees  since  that  time.  She  is  qualified  to  teach  both  arts  and  sciences.  

Jennie  is  passionate  about  seeing  equality  in  the  education  system  and  would  like  the  educational  opportunities  she  has  been  fortunate  to receive  to  be  open  to  all,  regardless  of a  child’s  socioeconomic  background.  Her  goal with  her books  is  to  level  the  playing  field  for  families and  to  support  them  in  bringing  the  best  out of  their  children.
